This page explains what personal information we collect when you register for or attend the Parent AI Masterclass, how we use it, and your rights.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Who we are

This policy applies to the Parent AI Masterclass, a live online session run by Samuel Holston, trading as BrainTools Lab ("we", "us"). We are the controller of your personal data under UK data protection law. [BUSINESS NAME AND REGISTERED ADDRESS — SAM TO CONFIRM]

Contact for anything in this policy: sam@braintoolslab.com.

What we collect

When you register and take part, we collect:

We do not want information about your child. Please do not include your child's name, school or any other identifying detail on the registration form, in the session, or in any message to us. This masterclass is for parents. We do not collect data from children.

How we use it, and why

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Session recording and replay

We record the live session so ticket holders can watch a 48-hour replay. The recording may include the presenter, shared screens and, if you choose to speak, show your camera or voice, or include your chat messages and questions. You can keep your camera and microphone off and ask questions in writing, and you can use a first name only. If you would prefer not to appear in the recording, tell us before the session and we will not include you.

The replay is available only to ticket holders, through a private link, for 48 hours after the session ends.

Who we share it with

We use these services to run the masterclass. They process data on our behalf, or on their own account for their own purposes as set out in their policies:

We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not sell it.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, countries outside the UK, including the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer under UK data protection law, such as the UK's adequacy arrangements or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to how we use it, move it to another provider, and withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email sam@braintoolslab.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Luma and Zoom may set their own cookies when you register or join, as described in their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your data in a significant way, we will tell registered attendees by email.
