Terms of purchase

These terms cover your ticket for the Parent AI Masterclass. Please read them before you buy.

Who we are

The Parent AI Masterclass is run by Samuel Holston, trading as BrainTools Lab ("we", "us"). [BUSINESS NAME AND REGISTERED ADDRESS — SAM TO CONFIRM] Contact: sam@braintoolslab.com.

By buying a ticket, you agree to these terms. They sit alongside Luma's own terms for registration and payment.

What you are buying

One parent ticket for a live 60-minute online masterclass on Thursday 15 October 2026, 8:00 to 9:00pm UK time, delivered on Zoom. The ticket includes:

The price is the one shown at checkout. A ticket is for one parent or carer, for use by one household. Joining details are sent by email after you register.

Registering and paying

Registration and payment are handled by Luma and its payment provider. We do not see or store your card details. Please make sure the email address you give is correct, because your joining link, the replay and the Playbook are sent there.

Refunds

If the masterclass is not useful to you, email sam@braintoolslab.com within 24 hours of the session ending and we will refund your ticket in full. No reason is needed. We will process the refund to your original payment method within 10 days.

This is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, which this policy does not affect.

If we change or cancel the session

If we need to reschedule or cancel, we will tell you by email as soon as we can. You can then either move your ticket to the new date or have a full refund. If the session is delayed by a technical problem, we will aim to run it as soon as possible, and you can still use the replay.

What the masterclass is, and is not

The masterclass gives parents of 11 to 16 year olds practical guidance on using AI to support learning, based on learning science. It is general guidance, not educational, psychological, legal or safeguarding advice, and it does not promise grades, test results or any particular outcome for your child.

We demonstrate third-party AI tools that we do not own or control. Those tools have their own terms, privacy practices and age limits, and many require users to be 13 or over. You are responsible for deciding which tools your family uses and for following those rules. Parents of under-13s run the tools themselves, with their child alongside.

Your child's information

Please do not enter personal information about your child, including their name or school, in the masterclass, in any AI tool during the session, or in any message to us. We use invented examples only.

Materials and recordings

The session, replay and Family AI Playbook are owned by us or our licensors. They are for your household's personal use. Please do not record the session yourself, share the replay link, or copy, resell or publish any of the materials without our written permission.

Behaviour during the session

Please be respectful to the presenter and other attendees. We may remove anyone who is abusive or disruptive. If that happens, we may decline to refund the ticket.

Our responsibility

We will run the masterclass with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, for how third-party tools behave, or for decisions you make about your family's use of AI. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and it does not affect your statutory rights.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms, but any change will not affect a ticket you have already bought. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you keep any right to use your local courts.
